Maxine Conroy, Chambers Manager LL.B
Maxine graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington in 2011, and in the same year was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand as a Barrister and Solicitor. After completing her studies, Maxine did voluntary work at a small family law firm in Porirua where she assisted with day-to-day administration duties and client management.
In 2012, Maxine joined a leading legal publishing company as a Portfolio Editor and was responsible for the oversight of various family law publications.
In September 2014 Maxine joined Ross as Chambers Manager. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Chambers and plays a critical role in liaising with clients and instructing solicitors. In addition, her extensive experience in legal publishing and her knowledge of family law is a valuable resource to both Ross and his clients.
Maxine was raised in New Plymouth and spent eight years in Wellington studying and working before moving to Auckland at the beginning of 2014. Group fitness classes are a favourite pastime, as is escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and heading down to her parents’ lifestyle block with her husband and dog Frankie to visit Dougie and Fergus the Jack Russells.
